This course is designed for LEOs only and will be taught by SOF veterans Drew Estell and Steve Nguyen. The first two days of the course will refine pistol fundamentals, and give the ability to diagnose common issues in shooters from an instructors perspective, with the end state of getting a new shooter to achieve a measured and attainable goal. The second day will build on this to include movement, barriers, the learning process and how to structure training and present information. Day 3 will cover much of the same material but with a rifle as primary and pistol as back up. The 4th day will put things together and afford the officers the ability to conduct longer courses of fire and establish performance metrics while performing different shooting standards. The goal of this course is to improve the ability of our nations officers to teach and improve the students they work with.
