In this course you will learn what to do before, during and after a violent encounter when serious injuries have occurred. We’ll demonstrate how and when to provide lifesaving interventions, drill those interventions until you are competent, then apply them in an environment where you have to use your weapon. We focus on establishing that standard through data and techniques proven in combat tested situations both in military and civilian medicine all coincided and backed by the national standard Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).

o   Direct Threat Care

o   Indirect Threat Care

o   Evacuation 

·      Life threatening hemorrhage control using tourniquets,

·      Life threatening junctional hemorrhage using hemostatic agents with bandaging

·      Lifesaving air way maneuvers

·      Chest seals

·      Hypothermia prevention

·      Call to higher activation of the 911 system with deconfliction with Law Enforcement

·      IFAK considerations and Medical Action Plans specific to your day-to-day life  

Shooting topics trained:

·      Warm-up/fundamentals check

·      Shooting around a barricade

·      Priorities of threats

·      Planning | Executing rescue plan

Equipment: We supply all medical equipment; you may bring your own if you want the instructors to verify your existing kits. Pistol, hearing / eye protection, 3 spare mags with carriers, reliable holster and food / water, clothes you are willing to get dirty and have fake blood on.
