Day 1-2 will refine and teach how to deliberately clear a structure (CQB), mechanics, sectors of fire, hallways, priorities of work, room entry techniques based on the present threat and more.

Day 3 will incorporate force on force and harder problem sets.

This course is designed for patrol officers, swat officers, military, federal special agents and such. In this course we work from a base level to refine the processes of clearing a building in a 1-2 person situation. In this course you will learn the mechanics of negotiating buildings, rooms and hallways.

  • Differentiating deliberate clearing vs. driving force.

  • Cognitive stress and problem solving.

  • Solid foundation/understanding of clearing with 1-2 officers/operators covering hallways, room entry techniques based on situation, the room itself, opposing threats and more.

  • Threat vs non-threat

No live ammo will be brought to the CQB training area, and students will be checked/cleared every time they enter the facility.

Please bring your own sims/UTM bolts, slides and ammo. If you can not, let us know and we can supply UTM brand bolts, barrels and ammo for AR15 with DI operating systems and Glock 19 slides Gen 1-4.

  • Thick shirt/hoodie/top for force on force

  • Duty belt with Glock 19 holster, light preferred.
