13-14 Aug 2026 | Martinsville, IN | LE Med Response

$650.00

This course will be taught by head medical instructor Paul and SME Jason will be teaching this two-day course. The first day focuses on the phases of care, priorities of threats, mechanics, and marksmanship associated with situations associated with casualties. Building the basics of stabilizing a casualty through the S-M-A-R-C-H algorithm, with plenty of opportunities to get hands on experience through periods of instruction.

Drilling instills mechanics and during day 2 the focus will be on giving students the ability to work through numerous drills while building a standard on shooting, movement and communication during officer down incidents. We want you to be able to know why you are doing an intervention along with understanding there is a right time and place for medicine vs tactics. The ability to perform under those different types of stress are instilled during both days and is the baseline we are striving to teach each day.

Objectives to be covered are as follows:

  • Understanding the phases of care per TECC-LEO

  • S-MARCH

  • Performing casualty assessments

  • Performing lifesaving interventions

    • Using Tourniquets, hemostatic agents, chest seals, basic airway management and bandaging

  • Establishing a response plan and rescue plan for downed officers using best practices

  • Drills instilling mechanics, to this we create a standard based off evidence-based medicine, repetitions and best practices, not theory.

An 8-hour classroom course specifically designed for law enforcement officers and other non-EMS first responders is merged into this 2-Day course. The course covers materials found in the 16-hour TECC provider course at a level appropriate for first responders. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as a TECC-LEO provider for 4 years, and 8 hours of CAPCE credit for qualified participants.
